ACHENA is a
member of the
Academic
Consortium for Complementary and Alternative Health Care
(ACCAHC)- a vehicle for shifting medicine toward a
system which focuses on health. ACCAHC engages and
supports activities in the areas of education, clinical
care, research and policy clarification which will help
transform the patient-experience through strengthening
understanding and cooperation among educators,
researchers, clinicians from distinct healthcare
disciplines.
ACHENA is a member of
The Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors
(ASPA) – which provides a collaborative forum and a collective
voice for the community of organizations in the United States
that assess the quality of specialized and professional higher
education programs and schools. ASPA represents its members on
issues of educational quality facing institutions of higher
education, governments, students, and the public. ASPA advances
the knowledge, skills, good practices, and ethical commitments
of accreditors, and communicates the value of accreditation as a
means of enhancing educational quality. Specialized and
Professional Accrediting organizations in the United States
operate to ensure that students in educational programs receive
an education consistent with standards for entry to practice or
advanced practice in each of their respective fields or
disciplines. With approximately 60 member agencies, ASPA is the
only unified, national voice that supports the importance of
specialized and professional accreditation.
ACHENA needs the
support of the entire Homeopathic Community: students, schools,
organizations and consumers as we seek United States Department
of Education recognition. USDE recongition will enable students
of accredited schools to access federally backed student loans
and student visa's, as well as help raise the profile of
homeopathy as a credible health care profession.
Please support
homeopathy, support ACHENA!
