Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America<\/b><\/p>\n

ACHENA, founded in 1982, is an independent accreditation agency that assesses the educational standards of homeopathic schools and programs.\n<\/p>\n

Accreditation is a process used by institutions of higher learning that grants public recognition for achieving a definitive standard of excellence. Homeopathic schools and programs that receive ACHENA accreditation have met recognized standards of excellence aimed to protect the public and promote professionalism.<\/p>\n

ACHENA accreditation is a voluntary, peer-regulated process.<\/p>\n

ACHENA Commissioners represent homeopathic educators, practitioners, students, allied health professionals and the public. As a nonprofit agency, ACHENA devotes all promotional activity and funds to the mission and goals of ACHENA.<\/p>\n

ACHENA is a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)<\/b>
\nANSI works in close collaboration with stakeholders from industry and government to provide a framework for fair standards development, quality conformity assessment and safeguards to standards integrity.<\/i><\/p>\n

  3. Certifying continuing education for professional homeopaths<\/li>\n
  4. Serving as a resource center that provides information about accreditation of homeopathy training programs<\/li>\n
  5. Supporting administrators, educators and students in understanding the accreditation process<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
